What I liked about it was that they told the the Maori name of New Zealand and the English name of New Zealand the Maori name of New Zealand is Aotearoa and the English name of New Zealand is the land of the long white cloud.
I agree that the maori name of New Zealand is Aotearoa and the english name of New Zealand is the cloud the land of the long white cloud.
Why I like the fact about the the two names of the Zealand was because it sounded really interesting because I didn't know New Zealand had two names one was in Maori and one was an english so I found it really interesting and that's why I liked it.

What a great way to kick start your journey, you have shared a really interesting fact about our country, Aotearoa. I really like how you went into depth explaining why you like this fact. I am glad you have learnt something already. According to the Te Ara website (2018), there are two stories as to why our country was named Aotearoa, the land of the long white cloud. Both of these stories include voyagers travelling to New Zealand and being guided by a long white cloud hanging over the land. Is that not fascinating.
