The Legend of the tapa

   Hello fellow bloggers  it  Been A pretty long time since I've posted  on my blog and I have something very cool to show you today. I'm going to share a blog post with you which tells you how to make a tapa of cloth for those of you who don't know what this is it is a traditional Ireland where  that they make using it a bark from a tree. I really enjoyed researching about about it was so much fun but  but it was a little hard because I had to find out what other countries make it. So I know Maori used to make it and like someone Tonga and Hawaii and Fiji make it too.  They do it in different ways and my  next learning step I'm going to like focus on finding more information about why they make tapa  cloth and if it's part of tradition Bye for now.

Inspiring Futures

Hello and this week I have something very juicy this week we got some people so they were from my different companies. So basically we were  focusing on this week is what would be our future career pretty exciting isn't well my future career I want to be an archaeologist because history just so amazing. Ok back to the post so basically we got to meet,talk and talk to them and they tell all but happened in  their lives. How they got the job and what they wanted to be before they got the job so here are some photos of the event. I really enjoyed this event.  The stories we just so interesting and then we got to see like the tools and what they do later I'm just the best event.

We have a tree the world needs most

Hello it's been a pretty long time since I posted anything wait minute I just posted something last week it was about Tongan language week have you checked out will go ahead they're pretty exciting. Guess I have forgotten. It’s been a long week for me and a busy one at  that so on to my post for today so this week on Wednesday we did … KAWAKAWA planting !!! so it was so exciting and it that exciting that when I’m talking about it know I feel like I’m going to jump right out of my pants.This plant has a lot of

Purposes it can be used for medical use or you can put it in your food  it can even stop toothaches and stop pine in cuts. This cool tree can even sprout fruit and keep bugs away from your house. This plant is a big part of Maori traditions. Theres even a venn diagram to tell you how to plant your own Kawakawa .

Tongan language week

 This week was Tongan language week and we made fans and decoration for our hair called teka it was so much fun. But it was a little hard and making the fans and the teka.  Even learnt about their flag and and their traditional belts and dresses. They wear for special occasions and we did fun activities there so we had fun this week.

3D shaps

 This week we have been doing geometry for math and we've been working on 3D shapes  so we bought in cracker box and cereal boxes that look like rectangular prism and cubes and then we got papers drew  how they would look like if they were like taking apart .Then we took them apart and compared it to a drawing and then cut out our drawing and try to put it together and make it look like the box that you already have. Pretty easy but a little bit hard to glue them cos it took forever for the glue to dry and they kept falling apart but I had lots of fun.

 After  we spend endless days in lockdown we finally came back to school and started to write 5 poems about our emotions. Here's one of my poems that I did,it's about Joy it was hard because  I'm not very good at writing poems and I found it fun because I got to try like new things. I actually like writing poems.

Kupasi patterns

This week in maths We had to find shapes in a Kupasi  patterns so I made a slideshow with all the shapes that I found it in.  It was Hard to find the shapes because there  more likely blended in with pattern.
